YA Wednesday: NaNoWriMo for Young Writers, YA Must-Reads that Started as NaNoWriMo Projects, What Young Adults Want to Read, Outlining Without Biting Your Head Off

NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) is just around the corner and this could be your chance to finally get that novel, or at least 50,000 words of it, written. The result might be highly flawed or rough, but just reaching the end can be a spectacular feeling.

And NaNoWriMo is not just for adult writers. There is a young writer version and teachers and librarians are making it part of their curriculum. As someone who didn’t take her writing seriously until almost too late, boy, do I wish I’d had NaNoWriMo as a teen. If you’re a teen or an adult writer, here are some links to inspire you and help you get started.
